OvoHi Account Deletion
This page explains how OvoHi users can request deletion of their account and related data.
How to Request Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your OvoHi account and related data by contacting us at service@ovohi.site.
Use the subject line OvoHi Account Deletion Request and include the following information so we can verify account ownership:
- The email address, phone number, Apple ID relay email, Google account email, or other login method associated with your OvoHi account.
- Your OvoHi user ID or profile nickname if available.
- A clear statement that you want to delete your OvoHi account.
Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive information in your email.
What Data Will Be Deleted
After we verify your request, we will delete or anonymize account data associated with your OvoHi account where required and permitted by applicable law. This may include:
- Account profile information, such as nickname, avatar, language preferences, country or region, and profile details.
- User-generated content associated with your account, such as posts, comments, uploaded images or videos, and related interaction records.
- Messages and voice content associated with your account, subject to technical limits, safety requirements, and other users' own records.
- Device, notification, and usage records that are no longer needed to provide the service or meet safety and legal requirements.
Data We May Retain for a Limited Period
Some information may be retained for a limited time when necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, payment, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes. This may include:
- Purchase, subscription, coin transaction, refund, tax, and payment verification records.
- Records related to reports, moderation, account safety, abuse prevention, or violations of our terms.
- Information we are required to keep under applicable law or app store rules.
When retention is no longer necessary, we will delete, anonymize, or otherwise process the retained data according to applicable law.
Processing Time
We usually respond within 3-5 business days. After account ownership is verified, deletion requests are generally processed within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, or technical reasons.
If we need additional information to verify your account, we will contact you using the email address you used for the request.
Delete Specific Data Without Deleting Your Account
You may also contact us at service@ovohi.site to ask about deleting or correcting specific personal data without deleting your entire account. Some requests may affect your ability to use related features.
